It is still the case that B2B Buyers are not receiving the find, choose and buy experiences that they need and expect. The problem areas of product information and product configuration emphasised for me the importance of Product Information / Product Data / Product Content management. Often secondary to other priorities, the value of quality Product Data is clear and whilst undoubtedly it requires graft and courage to focus on it at the expense of other, shinier things it is much more possible (and affordable) to drive significant change in this area than people often think. Businesses who have simplifying their plans, followed tried and tested methods and remained focused on their outcomes are delivering spectacular improvements previously thought out of reach.
