Green stimulus can stimulate the recovery : A fascinating and optimistic view on how best to recover from the economic impact of the COVID-19 crisis.

Sustainable jobs that are available to many, ‘shovel ready’ projects, better return on investment AND progress tackling climate change. This will undoubtedly be an investment led recovery and this report tapped a significant range of influential opinions globally and has received widespread coverage so lets hope this is where the investment goes.

On account of a mild obsession with what will happen in the future this will be the first of a number of posts over the coming days, and I guess the imminent and immediate question is what do businesses do to anticipate and respond to this investment in what is today an under-penetrated sector – Love to see / hear thoughts on that in the comments. The Guardian article is the most complete report (imo), more sources in the Independent one and I’ve included a link to the report itself here.
